Moonshadow
The mare's short, slender legs carried her with relative speed as she neared Aspen Delta. She whipped her head around to check on the foals, hopefully following her, making sure that neither had been left behind by her accelerating pace. She lowered her crested neck to gently pluck blades of grass from the ground, chewing carefully before swallowing and tugging other strands from the soi. After satiating her slight appetite, she neighed for Soldier. I'm back, my king! she called, waiting patiently for either the twins or for her king to arrive.

|Twins| The two sun-dipped foals trotted in sync with each other as each stood side by side. It seemed as though they were a team of horses pulling a carriage with their already elegant and together movement. They thought the same most of the time. They soon slowed down to a walk as they neared their new mother. Kiri shook her head violently at the sudden neigh she had let out to rid the ringing from her auds. Nauru wasn't as close so he just stood there, wondering why Kiri had done that. Kiri's dial turned upward. So, whom sha'll we meet first? Her words were joyous and excited as her nerves gave her enormous feelings of joy and anticipation to meet someone. Nauru just stood back and watched for tell tale signs of untrust. He wasn't ready to give up.

Moonshadow
Moonshadow nickered happily as she saw her twins approach. Truly, they weren't hers, but she loved them as much as if they were. She nuzzled Kiri affectionately on her golden neck, while restraining to do the same for the still-wary Nauru. Welcome, Kiri and Nauru, to Aspen Delta, she said, twisting her head around to gesture to the expansive lands. King Soldier should be here soon. He is the only other horse currently living at Aspen Delta, she broke off her small string of words to begin grazing serenely. Then, a sudden worry triggered new paranoias. Were the twins old enough to graze? Did they still need milk that Moonshadow couldn't produce?

|Twins| Kiri watched as moonshadow grazed yet knew her neck wasn't long enough to do the same yet. Her and Nauru had been living off reachable berries and water for the last month and it seemed it had been going well yet she wasn't sure about something. Did Aspen Delta behold edible berries? She wondered as she looked back to nauru. He was growing faster than she was so he could almost reach the blades but still not quite enough. Dial's rose and auds perked as they looked to each other in unison. They knew that they absolutely were thinking the same thingKiri turned her dial to Moonshadow as her little muzzle nudged her side. Excuse me, I don't mean to bother your grazing but is there any chance you water foals can safely stand in and berries that they can safely eat? It is what we have been living off of for the last month. They both stared up at her as Nauru took a single step forward, hoping she had a positive answer as he was beginning to get a little hungry.
