Buckskin Leader had been traveling for days, searching for his soon-to-be home. Daggers landed roughly on the soft, moistered topography as harks twitched backwards and forwards. Sun beat down on the lightened pelt as sweat began to form down his crest and dial. Cresents flared in and out as it seemed he had found his position as light king in the land that stood lifeless on the crust before him. Flocks were heard above in the infinity. An oasis of liquid dribbled down in small sectors which led towards the large pool of fresh, clean water. It would be the perfect palace and area to raise his growing family. But there was but one problem, the scent of another.
Harks perched forward as he heard the steps of another 'quine. Another Lord. No other sounds were heard besides he flaring of air entering and escaping, and the padding of ivons on the dampened soil. I could turn out brutal, but just like his name, he would fight for what he wanted, and this land, was exactly what he wanted. What brute steps forth o n my terrain with having permission? A dark-toned voice was heard from the shadowy darkness. Commander stood tall and replied with the politeness of tones. I be Soldier, here to find my kingdom. This domain has come to my liking. Soldier stepped forward towards the sound, trying to eye out who had first spoken to him. Leave, I wish not to fight. The dark voice spoke out once more. But Soldier wasn't about to leave what he had happened to come across. I challenge thee to a battle for the terrain. Silence was heard as the darker-toned steed seemed to have to think about the offer. After many moments, the hidden brute stepped into the sunlight, where for the first time, Soldier saw him. The enemy was a skimpy, skinny 'quine, who seemed like he had no loved ones. There was another long moment of silence before the enemy charged at Soldier, ears pinned back against his poll. Soldier was quick with the attack and avoided the charge. Before the foe could turn, he reared, crashing his dagger towards the enemies dial, knowing the steed out. It took no time at all with the older, previous leader had given up. He retreated away from Soldier, not wanting to get killed by the mighty new leader.
With barely no new scars, Soldier explored his new territory. He marked his scent on the large-trunked oaks. He relaxed his wounds in the cool, refreshing liquid of the large pool. This was his new home, and Soldier is the new light king.
Stallion Name: Soldier
Stallion Age: 5
Stallion Breed: Quarter Horse
Land Title: Aspen Delta
Land Description: The territory is about 46 acres big. Right in the center of the terrain lies a large pool known as Aspen Lake. Delta is part of the name for there are rivers everywhere that surround the lake. Aspen Lake take up about one fourth of the domain and the rivers take about another fourth. Large oaks and aspens surround the water. This is for protection from predators or enemies. It may also provide shade on a hot day. The forest floor is dirt and old, crunching leaves. And finally there is long, weeded grass in a peaceful meadow. This is more of the social area in the territory where 'quines can graze in peace with no interruptions. The kingdom is well hidden and the perfect place to raise a family for there are small creeks where newborn foals can play. Just one waterfall is in the domain, and it is quite small, but the perfect place where lovers can talk and spend a bit of time with each other.
