Darkened thoroughbred mare made her way through the foliage and brush of the forest. Auds were perked up,alert for anything. Lanterns danced checking her surroundings. You could never be too careful...Flints were placed delicately on the ground as to not make sound.

Storm
Stockings wrapped around the chocolate legs as they trotted swiftly to the beach. His bright eyes were alert and keen, searching for any small movement in the distance that could mean life. His ears were flicking back and forth as well, but it was his dilated nostrils that first alerted the stallion to the mare's presence. Spinning balancedly on his haunches, the stallion picked up a graceful canter towards the scent.
Storm had recently claimed a land for his own, and taken the title of the Dark King. All that was missing from his kingdom were mares, and he hoped to have several soon, ones that would produce an heir. His hooves left the slow-going sand and landed on firm soil, towards green plant growth. In the shadows, he spotted a dark mare, as tall as he and built similarly.
Hello, mare, he said, lowering his head and extending a foreleg in greeting. My cursing is Storm. May I ask yours? He might as well get straight to the point, but not before proper introduction, of course.

Ooc: Er, oops. Sorry, I thought she was a dark mare! You don't have to reply if you don't want to. I didn't realize she was a light.

((no no she's light but more dark...you'll see...just i'm replyin))
Auds perked up as the soft thud-thud-thud-thud of another's flints marking the barren earth around the minx. Lanterns spotted him before her auds could pin-point his exact movement. Piston extended as she lowered her tiara and said nothing. She hated lights and yet was one of them, why though?

Storm
The stallion stood with a patience that was quickly ebbing. She had greeted him with body language alone, but for Storm, that was not enough. If she wanted a home, she'd have to speak. Your name, mare, he demanded, a bit of bossiness creeping into his voice. Normally he'd go out of his way to win this mare, but he had other places to go, new lands to protect, and he really wasn't fussed if he didn't claim her. He could always come back or steal her if he changed his mind.
