A skinnied figure walked slowly towards her new homeland. So far, she had had barely enough time to explore on her own, but she would do so with the newest heir. She had lost a foal before, and this one seemed to be worse than the previous. It frightened her, but she vowed her life to never let this one get into danger.
The weak, wobbling legs were worked hard from the long way from the previous grounds, and already she would collapse. Coltine stopped and collapsed to the ground right near the border. Luckily they were inside the bordered lands and was safe with her mother there.
Alabaster made a half and spun around to face her daughter. She was premature, born too early. And Alabaster was too sickly to care for her and produce milk for her small coltine. She felt bad, but knew there was nothing else she could do. Realizing she was standing on her land, she lowered her dial to graze near her filly. It was her first grazing for weeks, and she already felt safe again.

Tri-colored brujo raised his painted dial as he felt and smelt the prescence of two others. One would have the familiar smell, the other had a younger and different smell. It must be Alabaster and her new foal. He spoke to himself as the lyrics entered the traps of his erect auds. His talons dug in as he pivoted on his hinds and launched himself forward into a full gallop. He continued for a while as he soon caught the sight of two painted figures, one grazing and one lieing amongst the sod. Why were they standing so close to the border? He soon slowed to a trot and eventually into a walk until he halted near the two. Pools looked down at the little coltine as she resembled much of her mother's characteristics. He waited a bit as his sides heaved to catch his breath as they soon slowed to a gentle, easy, normal breathing rhythm. Smile spread across his maw as pools were kind and gentle as he looked at the coltine. Gaze soon turned towards the familiar face. Alabaster, she is such a beautiful babe. Resembles many characteristics that you share, but why have you stopped near the border of Homeland and dangerous terrain? His smile soon faded as the question continued to run through his mind. He soon realized that he had forgotten to ask a question he had wanted to ask and before she got a chance to speak, he quickly asked it. Oh by the way, I forgot to ask, What have you named her, if you have named her yet that is? Smile soon returned as to comfort the atmosphere a bit more and make it more relaxing. The zephyr blew through, tugging at his banner harshly, replacing onto the opposite side of his boa, yet its strength was less near the tip of his tassel and barely blew at it as the bordering forest made the wind dip down and cathc his banner but not his tassel. >>>Would have to be now, my longest post ever. I think I rambled in the end a bit though. lol

Dial raised and ears were well perched at the sound of her new Lord nearby. She looked nowhere but at her weakened filly, sighing for she knew not what to do with such a weak and helpless babe. She looked at her Lord with a kind greeting before turning back her gaze to her filly, smile faded. Audes took in the soothing tones of the tri-colored brujo, and she replied with a somewhat worried tone.
Lord Rajan, she cannot walk any farther. I don't want to push her. Besides, I am quite hungry and the food here is heavenly.
There was a slight pause as she turned towards him, gaze going straight towards his full-of-life visionaries. She sighed, wishing hers were more exciting, but lyrics spoke inside as she remembered his other question.
I decided to call her Crimson Lady. My name is Alabaster, yet my hide is not a fully white hide. Her's is mostly a crimson color. I believe it matches her quite well.
She gave him a smile before turning back to graze a bit more, listening closely to her Lord's reaction.

Auds were erect as he listened to the reason why they had stopped at the edge. It was a good reason but it worried him. Why was the filly so weak. He slowly walked up to her as to not scare her as dial dipped low and occules were in line with hers. He smiled at her as he starred for a moment. Crimson Lady, lovely name. He said quite gently but loud enough to hear, M'lady, maybe we should move her a little further in so as she will be safer and you will be safer from being attacked at your weakest. Not just horses lurk around in those forests. Dial stood still for a little while longer and then it raised to face Alabaster's. His dial didn't move a muscle as his auds stood erect for the most point. One would chec k the forest for sound everyf now and then. >>>Horrible post. couldn't think very well.

Weakened coltine lifted her head and looked at the large steed. Her first instinct was that he was her father, he did look alike. She nickered, using up the last of her strength. She laid her head back down on the dampened crust. Sapphires began to close already.
Alabaster nodded at Rajan but gave him an innocent look. He should know how weak they both were by now. She looked back down at her young miss and sighed once more. Lord Rajan, can't you see she is too weak. She could die. I have no milk to provide her with. I am as sickly as her. She wished she wasn't, but reality had to be spoken truthfully. Sapphires dampened as her gaze returned back to Rajan. An innocent look in her eyes could make your heart sink.

Smile disappeared just as quickly as she spoke those two words. No milk. He knew the only way it could start to produce would be to eat and it would have to include things with a lot of nutrition. Then m'lady. You must eat anything and everything nutritious. I, on the other hand, will take over to watch this coltine and bring her any water I can to keep her from dehydrating and getting hot. His gaze turned to the little coltine as he looked at her a bit until dial dipped low and he nuzzled her small cheek. Labras began to part again as this time it was a whisper. Princess, you just stay here and stay still. We do not want you to lose all energy or be seen by any predators. These grasses and trees sha'll hide you well. Gaze turned back towards Alabaster as he gave her a quick nod and within that second, he pivoted and bolted the other way.
Tri colored bod was moving at a trotting pace as pools searched the small pond's edge's for something to carry the water home to the coltine. He soon smelt an awful smell as he rounded the corner and paused, starring at the human camp. He searched around until he noticed a pot sitting upon the ground. There were horses tied up to the trees as they starred at him, wondering why he was there and didn't leave. He looked to them and looked to the people and the pot. Then he moved forward ever so quietly as he untied the three horses and grabbed the pot in his mouth. He looked to where he had come from and to the horses. The horses hadn't budged, but the way he had come had come too close to the men's heads. The only way out was to jump. He readied himself as he ran a couple strides and launched himself into the air, landing on the other side, clearing it perfectly. This noise startled the horses, making them bolt and run off as it woke the men. They soon saw only the stallion with the pot in his maw, but no horses. The steed turned and ran to the pond as the men got up and threw rocks at him as they could do nothing else. The steed scooped up some water from the pond as he passed and was gone. OOC:I had another part to add but I figured that you could work with this. IT would've been just as long as the other two. Please reply fast while my muse is up and running. lol

Alabaster nodded and gave a sweet, motherly smile as he spoke to her young one. So far, he seemed to be a good leader, and a magnificent father. Muzzle lowered to the ground after watching her Lord leave. She nipped at the stubs of grass below her enormous figure and ate as fast as she could. Yet she didn't hurry herself, instead ate at a steady pace, at least until Rajan returned.
Young filly did nothing in response to the Lord's request. She knew what he was saying and tried to obey as told. All she heard was the ripping of blades her mother was making. Harks twitched sideways as she felt comfortable, yet cold. It was only a certain amount of time before she would lose all her energy, and go to sleep.

HE made sure to keep as much water in the pot as he could. The painted pair soon came into sight as he saw that Alabaster had continued to graze while he was gone. His pace slowed to a gentle walk as dial lowered to the sod and ivorines relaxed, placing the cool pot of water near the coltine's maw. You must drink little one. It may not be what you want but mommy needs to eat more to produce what you want. She doesn't have any at the moment. His tones were soft as his maw nuzzled the filly's small forelock. He positioned himself next to her back as his bod soon slowly met the sod. He kept his occules on her and auds on Alabaster. He watched as he readied himself to help her to lift her dial to be able to drink. M'lady Alabaster. I believe there are some blackberries over yonder. They may contain some nutrition that you will not obtain from the grass. When you get tired of the grass, you may eat some if you wish. Labras played at the filly's back and legs as he tried to massage her weakened muscles. Boa stretched a bit as he whispered to her. You may ask any questions if you so please, princess.

Alabaster greeted Rajan back with a smile but gave him a confused kauk of the head as he returned with an odd looking object. Whatever it was, it seemed to hold a lot of liquid and it wouldn't hurt anyone. She nodded and began to walk towards the darkened bushes to nibble of the juiciness of the berries. She knew she could already trust Rajan with her young Lady.
Weakened figure managed to raise her dial and shoulder blades, but leaned up against the steed's muscular figure. She reached for the liquid but wasn't interested. It was nothing she wanted. It was cold and made her shiver. But she drank it anyways. She tried her best, only taking tiny, brief sips before once more, leaning against the brujo. She was too tired. There was no more energy left. The clear liquid didn't seem to help as she didn't want any.

Rajan smiled as the filly lleaned up against him and tried to drink the water. He looked at the pot after she was done. She hadn't drinken noticably much. he nudged at her to drink more and scooted as close as he could to her body. Dial lifted against hers, holding the tiny facade up. Crimson, you must drink it. Mommy sha'll soon be able to treat you with what you want, but for now, this is the only thing to keep you alive. Rajan let the small dial rest on his boa as he dipped his maw in and drank some then replacing both dials. See little one, it is what you will be drinking at my age, but for now, it is what you have to drink to keep yourself alive until your mother can give you what you want. His tone was pleading yet gentle as he starred at her with also pleading pools. He hoped that that would get her to drink more than she had.

Little pale sapphires watched as her 'father' showed her what exactly to do. She looked at the manmade pot and gave a confused, somewhat curious look at it. Blanch eyes gazed up to see her 'father' and lord. She whickered, giving a childish smile to him. Muzzle reached for the pot as she sucked in tiny droplets of liquid. She stopped every once in a while, only to start again.
T H E N E X T D A Y
After a long first night by her 'father's' side, she awoke with a wide yawn. She felt the energy spring up within her and her tiny pillars were moved underneath her. Tiny Crimson, Alabaster figure stood. She looked at her father but suddenly began to panic as her mother was no where to be seen. She cried frantically, tripping and falling over her own daggers. She snorted childishly and shuddered with fear, feeling she was alone.

The painted bod relaxed as he smiled at the sight of her actually drinking the water.
Painted dial sprung up as auds stood erect. He had been startled by Crimson's cry. He quickly stood and moved to her as dial lowered to her and nudged her. It's alright, princess, I see you have grown more energetic. Occules looked around as they formed into wonder of the sight of no Alabaster. No where in sight at all. His gaze returned to the small filly. Where has your mother gone? Dial rose high as maw turned heawards and he let out a shrieking call to Alabaster. He did it twice to be sure she had heard it. Dial lowered back to the filly as he offered to help her up and hoping Alabaster heard him.

Another shriek was heard as the tiny miss saw her 'father' arise and come to her. She snorted once more but accepted his help in getting her up. Her legs stood shaking frantically again. Whole body shaked as already the energy was beginning to weaken her.
At the sound of a screaming coltine, painted arab mare picked up a trot towards her filly. She had grazed throughout the whole night in order to produce enough for the next day. Sadly, she still wouldn't have enough until she was weaned, but for now it would have to do. The young skinned mare picked up a gentle lope as she heard her lord call for her as well. Canter calmed to a halt as she greeted her filly with a gentle nuzzle and offering her warm milk. As Crimson Lady nursed, Alabaster managed a weak smile towards Rajan then began to graze once more. Auds stood erect as he listened for the hoof beats of the painted fae. Soon the sound came to him as not long after, occules caught sight of her beauty. He watched as she walked up to the weak filly and actually had something to offer her. This was a good sign, a very god sign. A smile spread across his facade as the filly ate. Rajan nudged Alabaster's boa as his dial dipped towards the emeralds. You did good m'lady. Ivorines then snapped around the blades, tearing them from the ground and chewing them slowly.
