|Both| Two sets of hoof beats could be heard as the palomino pair playfully bucked as they entered the terrain.
|Kiribati aka Kiri| Femme slowed to a walk and then a halt as she reached a shady tree. Small dial lowered as she sniffed at the bushes, not able to reach the ground yet. Sun shone on her pelt making it glow in the daylight. Tiny talons dug in as she made some damp dirt come up. Pillars slowly lowered the small bodice to the cool dirt as she watched her brother search around.
|Nauru| Small brujo slowed to a walk as his sister did but he never stopped. Dial was held low as he searched the terrain for odd smells and dangers. Unproportionally large nares flared at each scent as he tried to decifer what was what. He soon deemed the area safe as he walked over to his sister and layed down beside her, laying his dial on her dorsal, ventral touching the cool dirt, cooling him off.

Moonshadow
The small ebony mare ambled in, making enough of a rustle so that the twins would know she was coming, but quietly enough to avoid the keen ears of a predator. She lifted her chiseled head and snorted silently, combing through the cornucopia of scents that marked these lands to find the faint aromas of the small twin foals. She heard their hoofbeats, too, and was able to locate them without too much trouble.
Hello, little foals, she said, in her quiet, warm voice. I live in King Soldier's land, Aspen Delta. Would you like to come with me? she continued kindly, looking at each foal. They were a splendid palomino color, and didn't look as if their innocent hearts had been painted black by any dark mare.

|Nauru| Dial lifted in surprise as auds faced towards the lyrics way that had entered them. Talons placed underneath as he lifted himself over his sister and continued looking up at the mare. Small mind processed the words. 'lo matured femme.I am Nauru and this is my sister, Kiribati. May we know your calling and a little about why you want us before we make our decision?Tiny auds flickered as fuzzy mane swayed quickly back and forth in the wind.
|Kiribati| Dial lifted in unison with Nauru's as she looked to the adult fae. She listened silently as voicebox kept from letting lyrics out. She staredat the fae as she awaited an answer and small tassel flicked at the tiny gnats that bothered her bod.

Moonshadow Hello, Nauru, and Kiribati, Moonshadow said kindly, but quietly. She looked at the small faces for expressions of fear. She didn't want to scare the little foals, but she didn't want to see hard fearlessness that might signify darks, either. But she knew that they were still small and their minds were still mallable. She looked at them again and decided that they weren't darks. I am Moonshadow. I would like to take you home with me so that you will grow up into respectable young horses, and not be taken home by a dark just to be abused and tortured. Besides, it is lonely at Aspen Delta, and I want a few youngsters to raise and mother.

Two Orphaned hearts fuse to become one strong team. Kiribati looked to Nauru and rose to her feet. Gaze shifted to Moonshadow. 'lo kind Moonshadow. Tis a pleasure to meet you. Don't mind my brother. Ever since out mother died by the cold heart of a dark he has been edgy and protective. I would love to join you as our new mother. You seem so thoughtful and respectful. My brother also needs to cool down and become a foal again and I believe you could help the outcome. I'm sure he will come too as he never leaves my side. Dial shifted to Nauru's as she stared him down for an answer.
The team adds another as the orphan status becomes a myth.
Nauru blankly stared at his sister as she volunteered them both. Did she really trust her instinct that she was trustable. He hoped her instinct told correctly. Tis true, I sha'll follow but it may be a little bit harder to gain my trust as you have done Kiri's. Nare's flared at his sister yet he still held the respect for her instinct and his protective instinct over her. He wished that she would think twice about her gut feeling at times though. His trust in her instincts would never fall under his as his is what got his mother killed. His thinking twice about his gut so he respected her trusting her first instinct and awaited for other lyrics to enter his auds. And the team runs happy and free in unison.

Moonshadow
A smile danced across her dainty muzzle. She lowered her dished head and snuffled at the two foals, catching their young scent in her nostrils so that she'd be able to find them later as they explored the vast Aspen Delta. She raised her head again, confident that she knew the distinct scent of each. I am terribly sorry about your mother, Kiri and Nauru. I know that I can't replace her, but I think that you will find a nice home at Aspen Delta. Follow me, if you wish to come, Moonshadow pivoted slowly before walking sedately away from the adoption corner, back towards her home at Aspen Delta.
